The hotel is located at the base of Aspen Mountain, only 2 blocks from the Silver Queen Gondola and is adjacent to the mall, restaurants, shops, and free shuttles to Buttermilk, the Highlands, and Aspen/Snowmass.
TripAdvisor Review: "Loved staying here! Though it doesn't have all the most up-to-date amenities, it really made you feel like you were at a bed and breakfast even though it was a hotel. The breakfasts are held at large tables where you get to meet other guests and the staff is really friendly. It turns out a lot of the people go here year in and year out and probably 70% are regulars. This was our first time, but because a lot of people knew each other at breakfast, it made it feel very friendly and comfortable. Love the fact that they have cookies at 3 every afternoon. Decent workout facility, great breakfasts (very large buffet plus a hot plate breakfast to order every morning all included in the price), very comfortable rooms, and just to nice comfortable place to be. Travel tip - you really don't need a car in Aspen. We left ours in the hotel garage all week. We did a lot of hikes and at the bike ride along the Rio Grande trail and those were great."
